Date:Jan 16, 2020

Option 1: Materials required: a bag of coarse salt (large grain salt) and a plastic bag
Put the dirty plush toy in a plastic bag, put in an appropriate amount of coarse salt, and then tie the mouth and shake it vigorously. After a few minutes, the toy was clean and we were looking at the salt that had turned black.
Remember: not washing or sucking! !! It can also be used for plush toys of different lengths; fur collars and cuffs; it can also be used for car cushions (you can pour salt on the cushions and rub it hard). There are coups on the show.
Principle: The use of salt, sodium chloride, to adsorb dirt, because of the strong disinfection effect of table salt, not only cleans toys, but also effectively kills bacteria and viruses. It can be compared to other things. Small things like plush collars, plush cushions in the car can also be "washed" in this way.
Option 2: Required materials: water, silk hair detergent, soft brush (or other tools can also be used)
Put water and silk wool detergent in the pot, use a general soft brush or other tools to stir the water in the pot to get rich foam, and then use a soft brush to soak the foam to clean the surface of the plush toy. Be careful not to get too much water on the brush. After brushing the surface of the plush toy, wrap the plush toy with a bath towel and put it in a water basin filled with water to wash it.
This will remove the dust and washing liquid from the plush toy. Then put the plush toy in a water basin with softener for a few minutes, and then pressure wash it in the water basin filled with water several times until the water in the basin changes from turbid to clear. The cleaned plush toy is still wrapped in a bath towel, and gently dehydrated in a washing machine. The dehydrated plush toy is shaped and combed, and then dried in a ventilated place.
Pay attention to drying in a ventilated place when drying. It is best not to expose to the sun.
Method 3: More suitable for larger plush toys
Buy a pack of baking soda powder, put the baking soda powder and dirty plush toys into a large plastic bag, fasten the bag tightly and shake vigorously, and you will slowly find that the plush toys are clean. Finally, the soda powder becomes gray-black due to the adsorption of dirt. Just remove the soda powder. This method is more suitable for larger plush toys and vocal plush toys.
Method 4: More suitable for stuffed toys such as electronics and sound
In order to prevent the small accessories on the plush toy from being worn, stick the plush toy's parts with tape, put them in a laundry bag and choose to wash and wash. After drying, hang them in the shade to dry. When drying, you can pat the plush toy to make its fur and stuffing fluffy and soft, so that the shape of the plush toy will return to its original shape after cleaning.
We usually put a suitable amount of detergent in clean water to perform disinfection. At the same time of washing with water, an appropriate amount of washing powder or liquid can be added for disinfection to achieve antibacterial and anti-mite functions.
In addition to the above methods, other methods such as:
[Hand wash]
Prepare washbasin water, pour in the cleaning agent and stir until it is completely dissolved. Put the fluffy toy into the hand to squeeze the cleaning agent into it. After that, pour out the sewage and rinse the bear with water. Toys take a few minutes, so that they absorb some of the water and allow them to air dry, or let them be daylight.
[Washed]
Before putting it directly into the washing machine for cleaning, you need to put the fluffy toys in the laundry bag first, and follow the general cleaning procedure. Cold washing detergent is better than washing powder, and it does not hurt the wool. The all-in-one shampoo is also good. After washing, it should be wrapped with dry towel and then dehydrated to avoid hurting the surface.
[Wipe]
Use a soft sponge or a clean, dry cloth, wipe the surface with a diluted neutral detergent, and then wipe it with water.
[Dry cleaning]
You can send it to the dry cleaner directly to dry clean, or go to the plush doll store and buy a dry cleaner for cleaning the plush doll to wash it at home. It sprays the dry cleaner on the surface of the plush toy, and then wipe it with a dry cloth after two or three minutes
[Sun exposure method]
Sun exposure is the easiest and most labor-saving way to clean plush toys. Ultraviolet rays can effectively kill some invisible bacteria and ensure the basic hygiene of plush toys. However, it should be noted that this method is only suitable for lighter plush, because the fabric and material are different, and some of the plush may be easily faded. When it is in the sun, it should be placed outdoors. If the sun shines through the glass, it will not play any role in sterilization. It's good to take stuffed toys out for a while.
[Disinfection method]
The longer the plush toy, the more bacteria are on the surface and inside. Rinse with water alone can no longer achieve the cleaning effect. At this time, put an appropriate amount of detergent in clean water for disinfection. While washing with water, we can add an appropriate amount of washing powder or liquid to carry out disinfection treatment to achieve antibacterial and anti-mite functions.
During the drying process after disinfection and washing, be sure to pat the plush toys intermittently to make the surface and fillings fluffy and soft, and restore the shape before washing.
